1. What is included in the £35 per hour cost?
Our standard hourly rate covers premium, fully insured gardening and exterior cleaning labor. We bring our own professional tools and equipment to every single visit, so you don't need to supply a thing. From lawn mowers and hedge trimmers to high-pressure jet washing units, we arrive fully prepared to transform your space.
2. Are there any extra hidden costs I should know about?
We believe in 100% pricing transparency. The only potential extra fees are for parking (if free parking isn't available) and green waste removal. Because waste volume varies wildly from garden to garden, waste disposal is charged as an additional fee. Don't worry - an estimated cost will always be discussed and agreed upon with you before your job starts or before any waste is loaded onto our vehicle.
3. Who will be carrying out my gardening or jet washing job?
Tidy Garden London is a proud, independent team of local London gardeners and exterior cleaners - not a faceless agency. We prioritize safety and visitor trust, which is why we are fully insured. For your peace of mind, you will always be given the exact name(s) of the friendly, attending team member(s) as soon as your booking is confirmed.
4. Will I always get the same gardener for recurring visits?
Yes, whenever possible! We know our clients love building a relationship with a gardener who understands their specific outdoor space. While we cannot 100% guarantee it due to shifting schedules or sickness, we always aim for consistency. If you particularly require the exact same gardener every time, just let us know during booking and we will do our absolute best to accommodate you.
5. Do your team members work alone or in pairs?
Depending on the size and scale of your outdoor space, we will either send you one expert gardener or a small, highly efficient team of two. We find that working in pairs is often the fastest, most cost-effective way to handle heavy garden clearances and large jet washing projects without disrupting your day.
6. Do I need to be at home while you complete the work?
No, you do not need to take a day off work! As long as we have clear, unlocked side or rear access to your garden and an outdoor water tap (for jet washing services), our team can complete the entire transformation while you are out. We can send you before-and-after photos via WhatsApp as soon as we finish.
7. What areas of London do you cover?
We provide professional gardening, garden clearances, and driveway/patio jet washing services across West and North-West London including Willesden, Kensal Rise, Queens Park, Notting Hill, Labroke Grove, Shepherds Bush, West Hampstead, Kilburn and the surrounding areas. If you aren't sure if we cover your postcode, please contact us to discuss your outdoor space.
8. What happens if it rains on the day of my booking?
We are used to the British weather! Our team safely works through light-to-moderate rain to keep your garden looking sharp. However, if severe weather or torrential downpours make it impossible to deliver a high-quality finish we will contact you early in the morning or the day before to reschedule to the next available dry slot at no extra cost.
